Bhadrak: In an inhuman act, miscreants allegedly thrashed a youth and later forced him to drink urine over an alleged illicit affair at Baunsabaga village under Tihidi police station on Monday.
According to sources, the miscreants dragged the youth out of his house and thrashed him mercilessly. Later, they tonsured him and paraded him on the streets of the village wearing shoe garland.
The plight of the victim did not end there. When the youth asked some water to drink, the assailants peed on his face and forced him to drink urine, sources informed.
Following the incident, wife of the victim approached police and lodged an FIR against seven persons for their involvement in the inhuman activity. Meanwhile, Bhadrak collector has asked the sub-collector to probe into the matter.
It is being alleged that the man was having an extra marital affair and was booked by police following complaints by the villagers. Later, he was released on bail recently.
