Bhubaneswar: A youth drowned while three others narrowly escaped from the watery grave in Kuakhai river at Bankuala on the city outskirts on Saturday.
The mishap took place when the four friends were taking bath in the river today.
On receiving information, fire personnel from Balianta rushed to the spot and launched a search operation.
