Bhubaneswar: Odisha Government appointed senior IPS Officer Yashwant Kumar Jethwa as the ADG of Crime Branch for a temporary period.
The 1994 batch Odisha cadre IPS Officer Yashwant Kumar Jethwa, who is currently serving as the Additional DG (Law & Order) in Odisha Police, will remain in additional charge of ADG Crime Branch till further orders.
The post was lying vacant after ADG Crime Branch Saumendra Priyadarshi assumed the charge as Police Commissioner of Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Commissionerate Police.
Earlier, Jethwa was on central deputation. He returned to home cadre last year. Before he was recommended for a central deputation, he was posted as the Additional DG with the Special Protection Group.
