Cuttack: The Lalbag police in Cuttack on Wednesday arrested two associates of jailed gangster brothers- Sushant and Sushil Dhala Samanta.
The two arrested are Sasikanta Khandai alias Danny and Ranjit Singh alias Rania.
The police also seized two country-made guns, 65 rounds of live bullets, three magazines, a car, a motorcycle and two mobile phones from their possession.
Sources said a complaint was lodged against the duo by one Riyaz Baux at Lalbag police station. Following an investigation, the police today arrested them under Sections 294, 506, 385, 386, 120 (B) of the Indian Penal Code(IPC) R/W Section 25 and 27 of Arms Act.
