Bhubaneswar: A Yellow warning for thunderstorm with lightning has been issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) for 10 districts.
As per IMD, thunderstorm with lightning is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur , Gajapati, Ganjam, Puri, Khurda , Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Rayagada in the next 24 hours.
Light to moderate rain or thundershower is also likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Koraput, Malkangiri , Nabarangpur, Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar.
According to IMD, “The Southwest monsoon has been subdued over Odisha. A trough at mean sea level runs from East Uttar Pradesh to northeast Assam across Bihar and SubHimalayan West Bengal.”

Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Interior Odisha and at one or two places over the districts of Coastal Odisha.
Yellow Warning(To be updated): Thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Bolangir, Bargarh, Sonepur, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh.

Yellow Warning (To be updated): Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Koraput, Malkangiri.
Thunderstorm with lightning is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Boudh, Koraput, Malkangiri.
