Mumbai/Bhubaneswar: The Board of Control for Cricket In India (BCCI) on Monday appointed former India opener Shiv Sunder Das as batting coach of the Senior India Women’s Cricket team.
The 43-year-old Das will join Ramesh Powar-led support staff for the Senior India Women’s Cricket team’s England tour in June. The India women’s team will play a Test, three ODIs and as many T20Is in England between June 16 and July 15.
Shiv Sunder Das, who hails from Bhubaneswar, Odisha, played 23 Tests for India between 2000 and 2002. He hit 1326 runs, including two hundred.
