Cuttack: As many as two persons, including a healthcare worker of SCB Medical College and Hospital, tested positive for COVID-19 in Cuttack city, official sources said on Tuesday.
The two have been identified as a 52-year-old man of Ranihat, who works at the hospital, and a 37-year-old woman of CDA Sector-9. She is the family member of an earlier COVID case reported from the area on June 28, sources said.
Further contact tracing, testing, and sanitization in the area is underway, sources added.
With the fresh two cases in the city, the COVID tally mounted to 39 with 15 active cases and two deaths.
