Rourkela: President Ram Nath Kovind will be on a two-day visit to Odisha next week.
During his visit, he is scheduled to attend the annual convocation of National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela on March 21 as the Chief Guest. He will deliver the convocation address and present certificates to students.
The next day, the President is likely to visit Konark Sun temple, sources said.
Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will also join the convocation.
Besides, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ and Petroleum and Natural Gas, Steel Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will remain present at the event, among others.
