Plus II exams to be held after lockdown ends: Minister

Bhubaneswar: The School and Mass Education Department on Wednesday has decided to conduct the remaining papers of annual Plus II examinations after lockdown the lockdown ends. The examination is held by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) every year. 

Clearing the doubts of parents and examinees, the School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash said that the Plus II Exam 2020 in the streams of Arts, Science and Commerce will be conducted after the lockdown period gets over. A notification for conducting postponed examinations will be issued after necessary directions received from the government. The students will be informed about new schedule a week before commencement of exam.

However, there is no chance to cancel the examinations. The department is prepared to conduct the examination after lockdown, Dash added.

CHSE Odisha had postponed Plus II examinations of all the streams with effect from March 23 till further order due to the outbreak of COVID-19.
