Berhampur: A jawan of the Odisha Special Striking Force (OSSF) engaged in COVID-19 duty in Ganjam district has tested positive for the virus, informed Superintendent of Police, Ganjam Brijesh Kumar Rai on Tuesday.
The jawan was engaged in patrolling duty at Temporary Medical Camps (TMCs) under Humma and Khallikote police limits in the district, the SP said.
He has been admitted to Parala Maharaja COVID Hospital, Sitalapali for treatment. “Salute to his dedicated service and wishing him for a speedy recovery,” the SP tweeted
