“We are really proud as we saved three lives. We can see our daughter in those three lives that she saved by donating her organs,” said Debishree’s father Arun Kumar Tawa.
Debishree’s grandparents, who live at Bhupati Sahi in Koraput’s Jeyopre, are also trying to gather some pride in the midst of the grief.
“God has given us an opportunity to save lives through our granddaughter. When the doctor said her chances of survival is grim, we decided to donate her organs which may save few lives,” said Debishree’s grandfather P. Chandrasekhar Gupta.
