One more COVID-19 positive case found in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Out of the 13 fresh cases of COVID-19 reported in Khurda district on Monday, one person was found positive in Bhubaneswar.
One case has been detected from home quarantine in Damana area under Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), informed BMC today.
The infected person is a 25-year-old male with a travel history to Mumbai.
The contact tracing is underway. The primary contacts and nearby houses are being quarantined and sanitised. The area will be under active surveillance, BMC said in a tweet.
With this, the total number of COVID cases in Bhubaneswar rose to 89, of which 33 are active and 53 patients have recovered so far. The fatality number stands at three in the city.
Today, 13 new cases have been reported from Khurda taking total count in the district to 257 with 119 active cases. While the recovered number in the district is 133, four patients have succumbed to the deadly virus.
Yesterday, two cases were detected from Patia area in Bhubaneswar.
