Cuttack: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) will announce the results of annual Matriculation Examination on July 29, informed School and Mass Education minister Samir Ranjan Dash on Monday.
Students can check their results by visiting BSE websites: www.bseodisha.nic.in and www.orissaresults.nic.in
Moreover, students can avail the results also through SMSes.
Speaking to media, the minister said, “Board is making necessary arrangements to publish the results on July 29. The evaluation of answer sheets was hampered due to COVID-19 induced lockdowns, but we managed to meet the July-end deadline.”
“This year we have made arrangements for the students which will help them check their results by sending SMSes. The students will just have to send their roll number through SMS, and subsequently, their results will be sent to them,” Dash informed.
As many as 5,60,905 students had appeared for the class X examination at 2888 centres across the State this year.
The BSE had set up 307 nodal centres and 60 evaluation centres for the exam which started on February 19 and end on March 2. However, uncertainty loomed large over the timely publication of results due to COVID19-induced lockdowns and cyclone Amphan.
