NTPC Talcher Kaniha employees pay tribute to martyrs of Galwan valley

Kaniha: As a mark of respect, employees and family members of NTPC Talcher Kaniha paid homage to the 20 soldiers who laid out their lives in the violent face-off with China in Galwan Valley, Ladakh. A small ceremony took place in the PTS shopping complex of the station on June on Thursday, where employees along with representatives of Union, Association, and welfare bodies observed a one-minute silence to pray for the martyrs and their families.
Maintaining necessary social distancing norms and Covid-19 protocol, they lit up candles and diyas as a mark of homage to the military personnel. A large number of employees and families also lit lamps at their residents and paid tribute to the fallen soldiers, and offered prayers for their families.
