Berhampur: A milk trader was allegedly killed by miscreants at Hilapatana in Berhampur town late on Saturday night. The deceased has been identified as Lambodar Muni (53).
Some customers spotted his body at his godown this morning when they had gone there to buy milk. According to reports, Muni had slept at the godown last night. Four miscreants entered into the godown and strangled him to death besides looting his gold chain which he was wearing around his neck.
The murderers also robbed the hard disk of the CCTV cameras installed at the godown. On being informed about the death, police reached the spot with a scientific team and started an investigation.
