Maoist leader Gananath Patra passes away at 79 in Rourkela

Rourkela: Maoist leader and Advisor to Chasi Mulia Adivasi Sangh, Gananath Patra passed away at his residence at Abinashpali in Saranagari of Rourkela on Saturday. He was 79.
He was suffering from age-related ailments for past two years.
After being released from Choudwar jail in 2019, he had been staying at his residence in Sarangari.
People from all walks of life visited Patra’s residence after getting the news of his demise and paid last respects to him.
He is survived by one son and one daughter.
