Nabarangpur: A man allegedly killed his son and later surrendered before police in Nabarangpur district on Monday.
According to police sources, Amal Basu of Kumuli village under Raighar block in the district hit his son Asit Basu (24) with a crowbar following a dispute between the two late on Monday night. Asit sustained critical injuries on his head and died.
The accused surrendered at the local police station early this morning. Police have recovered the body and sent it for post-mortem. The police is investigating into the matter.
