Man held for selling fake IDs for free movement during lockdown in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police on Tuesday arrested a person from Damana area here for selling fake ID cards of different companies to people for free movement during the ongoing lockdown and weekend shutdown.

Acting on a tipoff, the Chandrasekharpur police conducted a raid on the house of Subhas Behera and seized over a hundred fake ID cards from his possession.

Taking advantage of the lockdown restrictions, Subhas used to create fake ID cards in the name of different companies misusing their brands and sell the same to people for Rs 200 to Rs 300, each, said police sources.
