Bhubaneswar: A male swamp deer died on Sunday at the Nandankanan Zoological Park in Bhubaneswar. Officials of the zoo said the deer was unwell for past many days.
Following the death of the male deer, there are three male deer, five female deer and three fawns in the zoo.
Deputy Director of the Nandankanan Zoo, Jayant Das said details on the deer’s death will be known from the post mortem report.
