Bhubaneswar: Despite Centre relaxing night curfew timings, Odisha will continue with the stricter curfew from 7PM to 5AM, informed DGP Abhay on Monday.
While detailing the guidelines to be followed in the state, after MHA issued directives on Lockdown 5/phased-reopening, Abhay said we are strictly enforcing night curfew again and Odisha will not relax the same as the Centre has done. Centre, in its guidelines has clearly instructed that the state government can go for stricter measures as compared to what the MHA has issued and cannot relax or dilute any measures, Abhay added.
This stricter night curfew will remain in force for the whole month of June and I urge the citizens to act with a personal responsibility, said Abhay.
