Human rights activists meet Anubhav & Barsha to resolve issue

Cuttack: A five-member team of women human rights activists on Thursday met Anubhav Mohanty and Barsha Priyadarshini in their Xuttack residence to resolve their issue. The actor turned political Anubahv has filed a divorce plea in Delhi while Barsha has filed a domestic violence case in the SDJM court here.

The team of human rights activists led by Chairperson of the International Human Rights Foundation, Gitashree Das discussed the matter between Anubhav and Barsha separately after they levelled allegations and counter allegations through posts on social media.

The human rights activists said Barsha said none of her in-laws tortured her except husband Anubhav. Barsha alleged that Anubhav used to get drunk and verbally abuse her.
Barsha does not want divorce but a solution to the issues between her and Anubhav, the human rights activists said.

However, the Actor and Kendrapada MP did not clearly stated what he wants in connection with the issues, the rights activists said.
