Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government on Wednesday announced that Plus III Final Year examinations in the state will begin from July 24 while final semesters for PG courses will start from August 20.
State Higher Education Minister Arun Sahoo informed this after a video conference with Vice-Chancellors of all universities.
Besides, Sahoo informed that entrance test for admission into various PG courses will be held between September and October. For this, offices of all universities and autonomous colleges will start operation with 30 per cent staff from Thursday. This apart, a special committee has been formed to design a blueprint for online programmes.
All the decisions have been taken in adherence to the Odisha government’s COVID-19 guidelines, said Sahoo.
The minister will hold a review meeting with VCs of all universities via video conference every 15 days.
