He also emphasized on more technological training to the security personnel to tackle with the increasing online fraud cases.
It will be useful in detection of unscrupulous persons cornering reserved berths in advance, by passing the process of reservation using unauthorized software/applications. These persons sell tickets to the needy passengers at exorbitantly high price. This cell will also help in tracking of criminals who run away after committing crime in Railway premises such as theft of railway property, dashing of level crossing gates etc.
The data on crimes such as crime against women and children, narcotics, smuggling of forest products in Railway Stations, trains and premises etc. will be shared with other law enforcement agencies too.
