Bhubaneswar: In a huge surge in COVID-19 cases in Odisha, as many as 25 more persons tested positive for the virus, official sources said this Friday evening.
Out of the 25 fresh cases, 24 are from Ganjam district and one from Khordha district, sources said. Earlier in the day, a person from Bhadrak district had tested positive.
With this, the number of active cases in the state stood at 206 while 63 patients have recovered so far. Ganjam district surpassed Jajpur district in number of positive cases as 71 cases have been reported from Ganjam so far.
