Paradip: A freight train rammed into a truck at JSW wagon unloading site in Paradip port on Thursday. Fortunately, the driver of the truck escaped unhurt.
According to reports, the accident took place this morning when the goods train was moving backwards without a signalman and the coal-laden truck was crossing the railway track.
The truck was severely mangled as it got crushed under a wagon of the train. On being informed, concerned officials of the port reached the spot and initiated restoration work.
