Rourkela: In a broad daylight heist, bike-borne miscreants looted Rs 1 lakh from an employee of a finance company in Sector-9 area here on Monday.
Sources said the victim Abdesh Singh, an employee of Bharat Financial Inclusion, located in Chhend Colony was returning after collecting loan instalment money at around 11 AM today. Near Sector-9 Steel Club, three miscreants came on a motorcycle, intercepted Singh and attacked him. Later, the trio snatched the bag containing Rs 1 lakh cash from him and fled the spot.
After that, the victim lodged a written complaint at Sector-7 police station, following which the police launched a manhunt to nab the culprits.
