Cuttack: COVID-19 patients will not be allowed to wear gold ornaments during their treatment in the COVID Hospital at the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.
The decision has been taken to prevent theft of gold jewelleries at the healthcare facility as several complaints in this connection surfaced, recently.
The gold ornaments worn by a COVID-19 patient will be handed over to her/his family members /relatives before the admission into the hospital.
However, the patients will be allowed to carry their mobile phones.
