Bhubaneswar: The total number of cases surged to 287 in Odisha as another three persons tested positive for COVID-19 in Mayurbhanj district.
According to state government’s COVID updates, the tally in the state stands at 287 with 222 active cases so far.
With surge of three more cases in Mayurbhanj, the number in the district rose to 7 (all active).
Source said that the three positive persons are from Kaptipada Block in the district with travel history to Surat.
Earlier in the morning, 14 new COVID-19 cases were reported from Ganjam, Bhadrak and Sundargarh districts.
However, Ganjam district is leading the tally in Odisha.
