Bhubaneswar: A couple and their son were cortically injured when unidentified miscreants hurled bomb at their house at Bhogada village under Baghamari police limits in Khurda district late on Monday night.
The accused hurled bomb at the house while the three were sleeping. On hearing the explosion, neighbours rushed to the spot, rescued the victims and admitted to the Khurda District Headquarters Hospital for treatment.
The miscreants fled the spot after committing the crime. Preliminary investigation revealed that the bomb was hurled with an intention of loot. Police have started investigation into the incident and efforts are on to identify and nab the accused.
