Bhubaneswar: Sale of liquor at shop counters, which was suspended in Odisha due to the COVID-19 situation, resumed on Wednesday.
The state government has permitted the counter sale of FMFL/IMFL/wine/beer/RTD at licensed IMFL ‘OFF’ and ‘ON’ shops. The existing home delivery service will also continue.
The shops will remain open for the counter sale of liquor from 7:00 AM to 6:00 P.M.
In order to regulate crowd at the shops, an online system for generation of e-token for slot booking has been developed by the Odisha State Beverage Corporation (OSBC) for taking a prior appointment to visit the shops.
