Cold wave: Temperature likely to dip in many parts of Odisha from tomorrow

Bhubaneswar: The cold wave conditions are likely to impact across Odisha with fall in minimum temperature from tomorrow.

According to the Regional Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar, the minimum temperature (night temperature) is likely to drop by 4 degree Celsius in the State.

Such weather conditions are likely to prevail till February 10.

The Regional Meteorological Centre also issued yellow warning and warned citizens to avoid prolonged exposure to cold during night and early morning.

“Cold is tolerable but mild health concern for infant and elderly people will be seen. Keep live stocks in indoors and shaded areas during night and early in the morning,” the Meteorological Center advised.

Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, Deogarh, Mayurbhanj, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nawarangpur and Bolangir.

It is pertinent to mention here that, in the last 24 hrs, G. Udaygiri became the coldest place with the minimum temperature of 5.4 degree Celsius, Phulbani recorded 8.5 degree Celsius and Koraput 10.2 degree Celsius.

Similarly, the minimum temperature in twin city Bhubaneswar and Cuttack stood at 14.8 degree Celsius and 17.4 degree Celsius respectively.
