Bureaucratic reshuffle in Odisha; Indramani Tripathy transferred, I&PR Deptt gets new director

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Government today effected a bureaucratic reshuffle with transfer of an IAS officer and appointment of new Director of Information & Public Relations (I&PR) Department.
As per the notification issued by General Administration & Public Grievance Department dated today, IAS Officer Indramani Tripathy presently serving as the Director of I&PR Department with additional charge of Director of SCSTRTI is appointed as Additional Secretary of ST & SC Development, Minorities & Backward Classes Welfare Department.

The 2011-batch IAS officer is allowed to continue in additional charge of Director of STSTRTI, Bhubaneswar, the notification stated. Similarly, IAS Officer Saroj Kumar Samal was appointed as the Director of I&PR replacing Indramani Tripathy. The Government declared the post of Director of I&PR equivalent in status and responsibility to the post of Joint Secretary in IAS cadre of the state.
