Nuapada: Mystery shrouds the death of a 28-year-old man, whose decomposed body was found hanging from a tree in a forest in Boden police station area of Nuapada district on Friday. He was missing for the last 15 days.
As per reports the youth identified as Makaran Majhi of Tetelkhunti village went out of his house following an altercation with his family members 15 days ago and did not return after that. His family searched for him everywhere, but did not find him. At last, they lodged a written complaint with Boden police.
This morning, some locals spotted the body of the youth hanging from a tree in Palasada forest this morning and immediately called up police. After reaching the spot, police recovered the body and sent it for post mortem.
While the reason behind his death is yet to be ascertained, the cops registered an unnatural death case and initiated a probe into the incident.
