BJP Nilagiri MLA recovers from Covid

Balasore: After 10 days of getting tested positive for COVID-19, BJP MLA from Nilagiri, Sukanta Kumar Nayak on Wednesday recovered from the virus infection. Official sources said swab samples of the legislator tested negative for the deadly virus.
Nayak was discharged from the Balasore COVID hospital where he was undergoing treatment.
He complained of cough and cold, following which his swab samples were sent for tests on July 4.
After being tested positive, the Nilagiri legislator was admitted to the Balasore COVID hospital.
BJD MLA of Remuna, Sudhanshu Sekhar Parida, who came in contact with Nayak on July 3 during the condolence meeting of late Balasore Sadar MLA Madan Mohan Dutta, also tested positive for the virus yesterday.
Parida is currently undergoing treatment at a COVID hospital.
