Cuttack: Inspector in-Charge of a Police station in Athagarh area of Cuttack district tested positive for COVID-19, following which the police station has been declared as a containment zone, informed Athagarh SDPO Alok Ranjan Ray on Sunday.
“Around 7-8 staffers of the police station have complained of fever. It has been decided to collect swab samples of all the 22 staff of the police station for COVID-19 test. All of them are inside the police station since yesterday,” the SDPO said.
Swab sample of the SDPO, who visited the police station, and two drivers will also be collected for COVID-19 test, reports said.
