Bhubaneswar: The total number of COVID-19 patients cured from the infection in Odisha mounted to 2,974 after another 120 persons recovered from the disease on Tuesday.
Official sources said the 120 persons, who cured from the infection and tested negative for the virus today, are being discharged from hospitals.
A maximum of 19 persons recovered in Jajpur district whereas 15 persons in Cuttack and 11 each from Mayurbhanj and Khurda districts cured from the disease.
A total of nine from Nuapada, seven from Sundergarh, six from Kandhamal and five each from Bolangir and Nayagarh districts recovered today.
Four each from Balasore, Dhenkanal, Kendrapara and Jharsuguda districts and three each from Keonjhar, Ganjam and Puri districts cured from the disease.
Two each from Angul, Kalahandi and Koraput districts and one from Malkangiri recuperated.
