Bhubaneswar: Total 73 more persons tested positive for COVID-19 in Odisha on Wednesday taking the tally to 611, official sources said on Thursday.
The fresh cases are from Ganjam (42), Khordha (3), Bhadrak (9), Jajpur (17) and Sundargarh (2).
With this, the number of active cases in the state mounted to 465 while 143 patients have recovered so far.
It may be noted here that more number of migrants are returning back to the state and corona virus positive could be alarming, especially for a district like Ganjam.
