Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s COVID-19 tally on Sunday further surged to 3,38,192 after 71 new infections were detected in the state in last 24 hours.
Of the total fresh cases detected from 20 districts, 43 have been reported from different quarantine centres while remaining 28 are local contact cases. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department. Khurda recorded highest 11 fresh cases.
Currently, the number of total active cases in the state stands at 652 and recovered cases at 3,35,569.
