6 Odisha police personnel including a DSP tests positive for COVID-19

Cuttack: A deputy superintendent of police (DSP)-rank officer on Monday tested positive for COVID-19 apart from five other staff of a police station under Athagarh sub-division.
Earlier yesterday, the inspector in-charge of Athagarh police station under Cuttack Rural Police District had tested positive for COVID-19.
As per sources, the IIC was not well for the last one week and was on leave. He was staying in CDA sector-9 since several days. Later his swab sample was collected and it came out positive for COVID-19.
Swab samples of over 22 persons including all the staffs of the concerned police station have been collected as seven to eight staff had reportedly developed symptoms of fever, cold and cough.
