Bhubaneswar: The total number of recovery cases from COVID-19 infection in Odisha mounted to 3988 after another 125 coronavirus patients were cured of the infection on Tuesday.
Official sources said after being tested negative for the virus, the 125 COVID-19 patients are being discharged from hospitals.
The maximum number of 33 persons from Khurda recovered whereas 17 from Puri, 14 from Cuttack, 13 from Mayurbhanj and 10 from Ganjam district cured of the disease.
Nine from Keonjhar, eight from Jajpur, six from Nuapada and four each from Kendrapara and Jagatsinghpur districts recuperated.
The sources added three from Sundargarh, two from Balangir and one each from Kandhamal and Malkangiri districts recovered from the infection.
